Junk-in-the-Trunk Piecemakers parking lot is buzzing
with activity. Approximately 60 “vendors” come with their trunks
full and go home empty, while many more customers go home with their
The vendors sell out of their cars and use the space around them to set up small tables and other displays. The feeling of community camaraderie is evident, as they share the space in between them. Total strangers become new friends!
As the old saying goes, the early bird gets the worm,
because the first shoppers
(who arrive while it is yet dark!) sometimes leave by 7:30 a.m. with
new treasures. By the way, the show officially opens at 8:00.
