Approximately 60 “vendors” came with their trunks full and went home empty, and the customers who filled the aisles went home with their trunks full! Marie's 90th Birthday Celebration     A celebration of Marie's birthday and life with close to 100 family, friends and customers! The Taste of Piecemakers 2011     Held on Labor Day each year, people come for the best food in town when all the Piecemakers cook up a feast for our customers and friends. Farmer's Fare     Another brand new event for Piecemakers, coordinated by Shastin and Kris who organized Sugar Rush! It was quite a happening with the watermelon seed spitting contest, apple pie contest, great food and crafts to buy. Piecemakers Participates in Huntington Beach July 4th Parade     Doug drove the tractor and hay wagon as it carried the organizing committee for Surf City, USA's famous July 4th parade. Sugar Rush 2011 - A Cupcake Extravaganza A brand new event at Piecemakers with lots of food, fun and sugar! The Pumpkin Patch and New Tractor The arrival of fall is marked at Piecemakers by the arrival of our colorful Pumpkin Patch, and this year a new tractor! Marie's 89th Birthday Celebration     A big "surprise" at 6:00 a.m. with a video filled with birthday wishes, cake, gifts, music, and lots of laughter and tears! Events in the Store Entrance     Most weekends the store entrance is humming with activity, from teacher demonstrations and trunk shows to sales of original art work and book signings. Piecemakers Storewide Sale Days Twice each year we have a 40% storewide sale that is quite an enjoyable experience for both the workers and the buyers! Raising the Cross (on top of Piecemakers store) On October 28th, 2006, seven brave men mounted on the roof of our beautiful Piecemakers' building, a twenty foot cross lighted with 700 colored lights... Teachers' Demos Almost every weekend of the year, and some weekdays, Piecemakers' talented teachers are demonstrating in our entrance, often bringing trunk shows and many of their beautiful creations to sell.
