    "The Carpenter"

Season's Greetings to our email friends,

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of david a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord... And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Luke 2:8-14

2,000 years ago, along the Sea of Galilee
There walked a man born of the flesh
    Much like you and me.

He lived, a man of Sorrows
With just one thought in mind
To make a path and show the Way
So all of us could find
An answer to the war inside
These walls of flesh in which we hide.

Of the silent years not much we've heard
He spent as just a carpenter.
Those days of living day by day
Were preparation when John would say,
"Behold the Lamb - He's made the Way
To end the struggle deep inside
So in Joy and Peace we can abide."

The Lord bless and keep you in His care throughout this coming year.

With grateful hearts for each and every one of you,

    Marie and all the Piecemakers
