It is Time to Awake! My dear E-mail friends,
"THE NIGHT IS FAR SPENT, THE DAY IS AT HAND. IT IS TIME TO AWAKE FROM OUR SLEEP."
My friends, the truth is an alarm clock. I say "the truth" for there is much truth that has nothing to do with the righteousness of God. These emails contain that truth that sets one free - if heeded it will eventually set our country free. For not only is this truth an alarm clock, it is a matter of life or death - a matter of whether we individually or as a nation make the journey into the next age. This journey, my friends, is as real as the journey our ancestors took as they left a tyrannical government and found a place for a new life.
Do you realize that we have no America to flee to, to escape the tyranny that is filling the governments of the world today, including our own government? However, we have available the only real refuge and that is the God who founded our country and from Whom we have drifted. He is truth. He is righteousness. He is mercy. He is justice. He is peace. He is our strength and our joy.
Man is the only animal not completed. We differ from other animals in that we can know God - can be one with Him. In that respect we are all created equal. The "Dick and Jane" mentality has been washed out of this race toward freedom. Not because God washes them out but because they do not want their evil deeds exposed which the truth will surely do. Oh, how we all love to be deceived and live in a fantasy world of our own imaginations.
Do you know the ones who want off this email list are mostly leaders in the Christian world who call themselves "born again"? Trust me when I tell you they are no more born again than the union of the sperm and egg, united in hopes of becoming a baby. And the ratio of the abortion, of stillborn, of dying in the womb is much greater than in the natural. Like the children of Israel the bones of the Christians are bleaching in the wilderness. If you are desiring an ear-tickling message, go to church on Sunday. You will also get an appeased conscience thrown in for good measure.
We are living in a most awesome time - comparable to the time of the inception of the human race. God Himself is birthing a nation out of a nation, a man out of a man. In Deuteronomy 4 we have a perfect description of what is taking place today. "God has assayed to go and take a nation out from the midst of another nation by TEMPTATIONS, BY SIGNS, BY WONDERS, BY WARS, BY A MIGHTY HAND AND BY A STRETCHED OUT ARM AND BY (GET THIS) GREAT TERRORS according to all that the Lord your God did for you in America (paraphrased) before your eyes."
So expect terrors - expect the law to get so impossible we will rebel against it for it is like a tight egg shell around us even as the Pharaoh put heavy law on the children until the water broke and the children were set free and the government was put asunder.
With our Creator busily at work in all of us as individuals and also as a nation we are all being held accountable for our deeds, our words, our motives. His judgments are pure and righteous and to be desired for they create in us a new heart and a right spirit. Are you being greatly wronged? Has all the joy of life been taken from you? Are your eyes open to see the crazy world in which we live but feel helpless to do anything?? Are you in the furnace of affliction - that furnace that creates a new man? Well, just know you are going the same path our Savior went and remember, out of His death came a new life. Can your lot be any different??
Let me share the excerpts from speeches of three of the leaders of our country when in peril and let you judge which you would follow.
President Lincoln at the time of the Civil War: "We know that by His divine law, nations, like individuals, are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world. May we not justly fear that the calamity of civil war which now desolates the land may be a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people???
We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us."
George Washington: "Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force: Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
O most glorious God....I acknowledge and confess my faults; in the weak and imperfect performance of the duties of this day, I have called on thee for pardon and forgiveness of sins, but so coldly and carelessly that my prayers are become my sin and stand in need of pardon. I have heard Thy holy word, but with such deadness of spirit that I have been an unprofitable and forgetful hearer. Direct my thoughts, words and work, and purge my heart by Thy Holy Spirit. Daily frame me more and more into the likeness of Thy Son Jesus Christ."
George Bush: "America was targeted for attack because we're the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world - the search is underway for those who are behind these evil acts."
Which of these three will God listen to? Remember, He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
"Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing." Are you awake enough to tell the difference??? Are you aware that behind the promises and sweet talk of our government leaders is a wolf devouring America and all we worked for and stand for? We are living in perilous times and the signs of the times are being screamed from the media, from television, from mouth to mouth but under a smoke screen of, "All is well. We will spend more of your money, hire more security and save all of you from peril".
I will close with a question. Did all of our security keep Reagan from being shot, or King or the two Kennedys? As long as we look to man for our security rather than God, we will do all things in vain.
God's love and grace be with you all,
