Exposing the Truth Behind the Reagan Funeral

    Hello, dear e-mail friends,

Pray tell me, what makes Nancy Reagan a saint because she stood by her husband while basking in the glory and honor of men? Is it not the natural thing to do, take care of one another, nurture the sick and stand by your husband for better or worse? Thousands do it daily not to put on a big show but just because "it's the right thing to do."

Have we strayed so far from our Christian heritage that kindness and charity are oddities and not the norm? We, as a nation, should have charity as the main part of our DNA. "Charity suffereth long and is kind; charity vaunted not itself nor seeketh her own. Charity beareth all things, endureth all things." Charity never fails. Charity carries with it its own reward.

With charity as the fiber of our nation we just may become a "city set on a hill", which will never come from the pomp and ceremony which receives its reward from the adulation of men.

    Sincerely,

    Marie
