May 2002, 2nd LetterWill Our Nation Endure?Dear Email friends,
Two thousand years ago our heavenly Father brought forth
in the world a new creation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the
proposition that all men are created equal. One world was ended - a
new one was born. God had entered the lives of men in the form of His
Son, Jesus Christ. Judaism, the religion of the Jews, who represented
God on earth, had become so perverted, so dead, so superficial, that
even the priests and rulers did not recognize the God they professed
to walk with.
Now we are in the year 2002. We are in the same
predicament. We are engaged in a great spiritual war wondering whether
this nation or any other nation will long endure. Christianity has
become a dead religion. Our government is as corrupt as Israel's was
at the advent of Christ, and God once more has entered the affairs of
men. He has a rod for correction, a two-edged sword for lopping off
dead appendages, and fire to change our elements.
We all have to contend with the living God. All will have
to awaken. All will be compelled to change or perish. This change is
as drastic as a worm changing into a butterfly as it affects our inner
man. The same God who guided Moses when He led the children of Israel
out of Egypt into a new world is the same God leading us out of a
decaying world into the kingdom of God. Christianity is as
"mausatot" (dead as a doornail) and perverted as was Judaism
at the first Advent of Christ.
These are the best of times and the worst of times for
America. We have yet to see the fruit of the seed planted by our
forefathers. The big question is, "Are there ten righteous people
in our land", so that God will spare our country? Or are we void
of any righteousness so as to warrant total destruction as is
happening to other countries?
Our government IS "by the people".
However, the people's hearts, yours and mine, are deceitful and wicked
and our iniquities separate us from the living God; therefore, our
government is an evil, tyrannical cancer setting on fire the pits of
hell. Our only escape is a visitation from God into the secret
recesses of the hearts of the American people. Through much pain and
suffering America will become one nation under God, with liberty and
justice for all.
