So The city of Costa Mesa plans a criminal investigation of the Piecemakers, a religious commune?

And one of the first things we read is a statement by a lawyer that, "No one is above the law..."

    Coming from a lawyer, that's a joke!

Chief Justice Warren Burger was once quoted that, "75 to 90 percent of American Trial Lawyers are incompetent or dishonest or both."

But assuming this particular lawyer is both competent and honest, let's ask him whose "law" are we referring to?

This writer has yet to meet one who has read the Bible and/or the Constitution, both of which are superior to man's law.

H.L. Menchken once stated, "Lawyers... are responsible for nine-tenths of the useless and vicious laws that now clutter the statute books, and for the evils that go with the vain attempt to enforce them..."

John Hancock once stated, "One worthless man is called a wastrel, two are called a law firm."

But let's quote the Supreme Judge: Luke 11:46 quotes Christ: "Woe unto you also, ye lawyers..." And I'll bet a dollar to the hole in a doughnut that there is not one lawyer out there will take the trouble to look up that entire quotation! They are afraid to do so!

Stop persecuting Christians, Costa Mesa, for those same Christians will be your judge at the Great White Throne.
