Snowcapped mountains stand as watchmen over this natural wonderland. Herds of deer and elk come to drink at the Uncompahgre River (seen below) which runs through the property. It is located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains in Southwest Colorado, on Highway 550, approximately 1-1/2 hours south of Grand Junction, 40 minutes from Telluride, or 2 hours north of Durango.


Piecemakers Ranch is a roomy 4000-square foot home with all the amenities, set on
56 acres of pristine Colorado property. Will sleep at least 21 and has a full kitchen and laundry facilities, and also a large amount of living area for family gatherings and relaxing.
 
There is a 1200-square foot apartment attached to the ranch house. Sleeps four to six comfortably. Has separate outside entrance and also an entrance from the house. Three-car garage and woodshop is below the apartment.

This is the front view of the house. The log cabin style home fits beautifully into the landscape of this piece of God's country. A place for year 'round fun: Winter - skiing, Fall - hunting, Spring - fishing, Summer - hiking, just to name a few!
From the pasture the house looks huge - really, it is 4,000 square feet of cozy! Comes completely furnished to sleep at least 21 comfortably. Also, the attached apartment is perfect to rent out or use as a caretakers cottage.

Walking on the property is all the entertainment anyone could need. This pond houses some of the best trout around. The river that runs through the property is called the Uncompahgre River. Its clear fresh water is matched only by the fresh air and clear skies.

Looking through the pines, every window has an incredible view of the
year 'round snowcapped mountains. The pasture is right outside the dining room window.
This kitchen is a cook's paradise. The view alone will encourage everyone to gather and chat. Don't worry - there is plenty of room!
The two bedroom, one bath apartment has a separate entrance, as well as an entrance to the house. The finest feature of the living room is the fireplace which is made from barnwood and river rock found on the property. The kitchen and laundry room are fully equipped.
