"I love working on design books for babies, it makes me feel nostalgic for when I had my own children. I found with the arrival of my new babies a creative energy was unleashed and I know many others pick up their needles again to knit for the new baby in the family. I wanted the designs in this book to be fun and modern and to suit all knitting abilities from the very simple Tweexle envelope sweater to the more adventurous Posy and Duchess. The yarn I have chosen to work with is a beautiful blend of merino wool microfibre and cashmere, it is incredibly soft and can be machine washed on the delicate setting.
