What an exciting day of festivities and food! There were hayrides, games, demonstrations for all kinds of upcoming classes in classic skills, Make-It-and-Take-It demos and much more in an old-fashioned family atmosphere. Parents and children roasted marshmallows and sat down to a delicious lunch with hot dogs, hamburgers, homemade baked beans, corn on the cob and potato salad. Plus, root beer floats, root beer sundaes or some other delicious root beer concoctions were available at the food booth. It was amazing to hear how many parents said, "I haven't --- roasted marshmallows --- had a root beer float --- been on a hayride --- since I was a kid!"
