October 2004Charity/Humility, not the Bomb, Will Change the WorldDear e-mail friends,There is a fresh move of God stirring in the wind. It is more drastic than the charismatic move in the sixties. It could be likened to the destruction of the temple in 66 A.D. The tremor began in the sixties and is about to erupt again much like St. Helen is erupting again. In 60 A.D. the beginning of the end of Judiasm took place and it culminated in the burning of the temple. Out of the ashes Christianity was born. Now we are again at the end of the age known as Christianity and the change is as drastic as the end of Judaism. "Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord for He is raised up out of His Holy habitation." Zechariah 2:13 Thoughts to ponder: We cannot overcome terrorism with terrorism. America has become the most feared nation in the world. We make Saddam look like a firecracker compared to our atomic power. The antidote to terrorism is found in true Christianity. Turn the other cheek --- humble yourself under the mighty hand of God --- destroy evil with good --- do not return evil for evil. These are basic principles to live by if, indeed, we are a Christian nation. Another thought to ponder: If your children are to become whole they will be compelled to break the boundaries or the mold you have put around them. Now, if never before, God has a plan for the life of your child and He will lead them through many trials, mistakes and valleys before they become the vessel in which He can make His abode. So let us keep our mouth and our will off our children and trust God for their lives, for we know our life is not our own - we are all bought with a price. There is faith, hope and charity and the better of these is charity. Charity suffereth long -- is patient, kind, understanding and charity endureth all things. Charity has an open heart toward all but puts its trust in no man, nor expects any reward for being kind. God will have a nation that will humble itself and live according to His will, or He will not have a nation called America, for all flesh will be silenced. Sincerely, Marie ![]() |
